Stella d'Otranto has its origins in the curiosity of master craftsmen to experiment with the creation of typical sandals in Salento. Each sandal is the result of a precise creative process that aims to guarantee quality and attention to detail, reconciling tradition and modernity.
Material Selection
We are proud to offer our customers a selection of products made from the highest quality leathers, sourced exclusively from Italian tanneries using traditional, environmentally friendly tanning methods.
Each hide is carefully selected to ensure not only its exceptional softness and durability, but also that it comes from ethical and sustainable sources.
We only work with suppliers who share our commitment to transparency and traceability, thus ensuring that every product we offer is the result of high quality craftsmanship and a controlled and responsible supply chain.

Environmentally responsible company
Our results
We collaborate with the company Cuoificio Bisonte, with whom we share a greener vision for our planet.
One hundred per cent of the leather we use in our products is certified Gold LWG and 'Biodegradable Leather in compost'.
In addition, all our suppliers, from farms to spinners and textile manufacturers, are Gold LWG certified.
This means that chain of custody practices are in place to ensure that the raw material we sell comes from certified farms and is not mixed with raw materials from other sources.
